The computer administration group of the Faculty of Physics is responsible for providing central IT services to the Faculty's students, chairs, work groups and central institutions. The administration of the computer pools is decentralized and in the hands of administrators located on the Faculty's sites.

Information for new students

As a student of the Faculty of Physics you have two mailboxes: a LMU mailbox and a mailbox at the Faculty. We recommend that you have your mail automatically forwarded from your LMU mailbox to your Faculty mailbox. more

  New service: CIP computers available via Jupyterhub.

  From now on, the computers in the CIP pool and also other workstations in different parts of the faculty can be used remotely via the browser-based application Jupyterhub. more
