Website development with CMS FIONA
Chairs and work groups can contact Referat VI.5 Internetdienste to have their websites created by means of the content management system (CMS) Fiona. The editing system runs on a server of the central administration. The delivery of the pages is done via the Faculty's central web server.
The pages can be edited using any modern web browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc). A Java runtime environment should be installed. Synchronization of the contents with the editing server is done hourly if required.
For large uploads the web server can be accessed via WebDAV.
